how it all started
Brianna and I met at the 2024 Bellingham Winter Wedding Show and we got to chat about her early visions for their wedding day. It always makes me extra excited when I get to meet my clients beforehand because it helps to put a face to the name (for both of us), I get to feed off of your energy, and we usually always find some common ground to bond over. A few days later, Brianna sent me an email wanting me to capture her and JD's wedding day in August, and we were both ecstatic!
Make sure to visit your local wedding shows in order to meet vendors in your area. There are so many things you don't even think about, and it will give you an idea of what your wedding could look like! Some venues also have open houses in the springtime, so if you're interested in a certain location, definitely reach out and see if they have events coming up.
complimentary bridal session
Brianna had selected a photo package that had the choice of adding a complimentary bridal session, and she took me up on it! This is something I offer to brides or couples, so they can get the most out of their wedding attire. They are not very common in Washington state yet, but I'm doing my best to educate couples on this opportunity. It not only gets you more photos in your dress but creates space in your wedding day timeline if you'd like. Brianna totally went above and beyond for her bridal session by borrowing an Audi car for our photoshoot. She told me that her fiance is such a diehard Audi fan, so she had to find a way to include one.

the wedding day
Brianna and JD were originally going to get married on family property but ended up renting this cabin on Camano Island that had the most gorgeous view of the water! I was stunned when I got the chance to see it at the rehearsal dinner the night before. It had the tallest trees sprinkled throughout the backyard that provided the perfect amount of shade throughout the sunny August afternoon. It was truly an intimate celebration with only their closest friends and family surrounding them, and it couldn't have been more perfect!
