distance can't keep them apart

Another gorgeous engagement photoshoot in the Roozengaarde Tulip Fields in Mount Vernon. It's amazing how different my galleries look each time I come here to take photos. The unique energy and magic that each group brings to their photoshoots truly shows up in their galleries.

Tiarra and Hunter are two very passionate and dedicated people. They both chose careers that require sacrifice in order to help others. These traits definitely carry over into their relationship with each other.   Although they knew right away that they were right for each other (Hunter proposed a little more than a year after they started dating), they wouldn't let any amount of distance deter them (Tiarra goes to school in Idaho, Hunter is in Washington). They didn't even let the distance stop them from doing this photoshoot with me! Tiarra flew in from Idaho and then they drove three hours north to get to Roozengaarde. I was taken aback and truly honored that someone would go to that much trouble to work with me, but that's just really who these two are. They are determined to get what they want, and truly go the distance for each other.

These two were easy to spot when they walked into Roozengaarde due to Hunter's uniform. We started by taking a few photos in the display garden and then changed into their more casual outfits to explore the rest of the fields. Hunter can make Tiarra laugh so easily and it was a joy just watching them having fun! Photoshoots are the best when you can simply enjoy the time together without worrying about being in front of the camera.

It didn't surprise me at all when I found out that Hunter proposed in Leavenworth last winter just because Tiarra loves Christmas so much. We got to talk about what they are imagining for their wedding day and who they would love to be there. The world is open to them since they have family and friends all over the country. I'm excited to see where they decide to start this next chapter of life together because I just know that they are going to make it exactly what they want, together.

We wrapped up the photoshoot in the jaw dropping fields that Roozengaarde is known for. Hunter spotted the lone yellow tulip in the sea of red ones that I had happened to notice earlier that day - which, I of course, included a picture of in their gallery. As we walked towards the exit, Hunter stopped to buy some tulips for his boss since they gave him the day off to do this photoshoot. Just another example of how these two see the people in their lives and go out of their way to appreciate them. I am truly honored to have gotten to meet them and witness a small part of their story.
