I know it's not what you want to hear when your photographer tells you "okay, great see you at the location at 5:30!", let alone in the summer BUT...
I'll tell you that there are actually many reasons why having a sunrise photoshoot is better than you think!
👉🏻 Lighting! Just like sunsets, sunrises have golden hours as well. Sunrises will have a softer, dreamier glow whereas the sunset will have that gorgeous golden glow. Both are amazing!
👉🏻 There are always less people at popular locations at sunrise vs sunset. Not only does that help the photographer get your photos back faster because they don't have to spend so much time editing the people out of the background, but you won't have to worry about making out with your partner in front of them either.
👉🏻 The weather is mild so you don't have to deal with sweating your makeup off! People always forget that Washington has beautiful (and warm) summers so if you have curly hair that tends to frizz (like me), you might want to opt for the cooler morning weather.
👉🏻 You have the rest of your day to spend it as you wish! You can go on a breakfast date afterwards and then enjoy the day together while laughing about all the goofy (but fun) things we did during the shoot.
👉🏻 Less traffic! Enough said haha.
