Molly is a dear friend of mine who also happens to be in the wedding industry. She is the owner of Olivia Rose Flower Co, and she is a genius when it comes to floral arrangements. She had told me that she wanted to do family photos, but the timing was just never right. Finally, we were able to get all of her five kids and husband in the same place and went down to Rosario Beach for an evening of playing on the beach, laughing together, and pretending they were in the Sound of Music walking through the mountains.

Molly loves color, so she was able to embrace her personality while coordinating her kids' outfits, so they all looked good together. That's the key! Coordination, not matching! She focused on pinks, blues, and greens and I think they were able to stand out amidst the natural earth tones of the chosen location.

Once my couple or family pick a location for their session, I send a personalized styling guide with the colors, fabrics, and styles that I think would look best in that specific area in that specific season. It's so helpful to my clients and I find that the photos turn out so much more cohesive and professional looking when we nail the outfits.

Molly also, of course, couldn't resist putting together a few small bouquets for her daughters to hold. It was a great idea because it gave these little ones something to do with their hands, and who doesn't love flowers?!
